Essaouira is a small port town on the Atlantic coast of Morocco famous for its small blue fishing boats and its laid back vibes. Art and music are a strong part of Esssaouira's heritage, you will hear traditional Ganouna music spilling from the restaurants and find art galleries in the most unexpected of places. The old media whilst smaller than that of its counterparts in Marrakesh or Fez is still brimming with incredible Moroccan artisans. The Medina has a more relaxed feel and you can easily enjoy an afternoon of shopping without any pressure. You will be collected from your hotel in the morning by one of our drivers in an air conditioned vehicle who will bring to the town of Essaouira. We will start with some tea and Moroccan pancakes before embarking on a guided tour of the city. We will take in all the main sites including the port and the ancient ramparts before making our way through the alleyways of the Medina. The tour will be adapted to suit the interests and the needs of your group. We will stop for a traditional Moroccan lunch before heading to Sidi Kaouki, a small Amazigh fishing village to the south of Essaouira. Here we will visit a traditional farm and Amazigh home. You will have the choice of a cooking class, bread making or Argan oil workshop. After our time at the farm you will have some time to explore the beach of Sidi Kaouki and relax before your driver picks you up to return to your hotel. In Sidi Kaouki you have the option to add a sunset camel trek, horse ride or quad ride for 300mad per person.
